Argentina fly-half Albornoz signs for Toulon until 2030
Argentina international fly-half Tomas Albornoz has signed for French club Toulon until 2030, the Top 14 side announced on Friday.
The 28-year-old, who has 21 caps for the Pumas, has spent the last four years at Italian club Treviso.
He will join Toulon later this month with the club without injured French fullback Melvyn Jaminet.
Albornoz was part of the Argentine squad during the last Autumn Nations Series and started in the narrow 27-23 defeat to England in November.
Jaminet hurt his right hand during Toulon's 33-20 defeat to Edinburgh in the Champions Cup and underwent surgery this week. He is expected to be sidelined for two months.
Young and versatile back Mathis Ferte, 21, will play at fullback on Sunday for the second round of the Champions Cup against Bath.
