Toulouse's Ramos to miss Champions Cup semi with injury
Toulouse full-back Thomas Ramos has been ruled out of this weekend's Champions Cup semi-final against Bordeaux-Begles with a calf issue, the French club announced on Friday.
France's Ramos, 29, has been replaced in the starting lineup by Argentina's Juan Cruz Mallia for Sunday's game at Bordeaux's Matmut Atlantique stadium.
The six-time champions are also without superstar scrum-half Antoine Dupont, hooker Peato Mauvaka and winger Blair Kinghorn.
The absence of Ramos, the club's record points scorer, as well as Scotland's Kinghorn means Mallia will take over the goal-kicking duties.
For the hosts, Tonga prop Ben Tameifuna starts on the bench after a calf injury had sidelined him since April 12's quarter-final win over Munster.
